Thank you!!!

I want to express my deepest gratitude to all of you who have been praying for me and supporting me in my mission work. I couldn't do any of this without you, and your role in my journey with the Lord is incredibly significant. It's because of people like you that I'm able to fully dedicate myself to serving God and sharing the good news of the gospel around the world. So thank you all for all of your thoughts, prayers, and your generosity in supporting me, I am so grateful!

Back Home!

I have just arrived back in the US from being away for three months in Vietnam. I am spending the next weeks resting, spending time with family, and wedding planning! Andrew and I will be getting married in the beginning of May and we are both so excited! We have many exciting plans coming up in our life of missions that we are so excited to share with all of you! Please be praying for us as we make this huge transition in our life!

Andrew and I reunited after 3 months apart!

With all of that being said, I am so excited to share with you all about my time in Vietnam and just a glimpse of what we were able to see the Lord do during this time!

What were we doing?

We were able to stay in the same place for the entire three months in Vietnam, and it was truly INCREDIBLE. Honestly, we had no idea what to expect when we arrived—our ministry plans were minimal, and this was the first team YWAM Kona had ever sent to this location. My main focus was simple: make sure our students leave loving God more and share Jesus with others. How God showed up to make these goals a reality was nothing short of amazing.

Every day started with worship and prayer, a time for our team to focus on the Lord, pray for the friends we’d made, and be filled up by the Holy Spirit. While we had specific days of planned ministry, most of our days were spent spreading out and simply spending time with the friends we’d connected with. As we met with them, we were able to build trust and deepen relationships, which created opportunities to share the Gospel. God truly lined up so many divine opportunities and brought people into our path who were open and hungry for Him. By the end of our time there, every team member had built meaningful connections, pouring into multiple friends consistently. Many gave their lives to the Lord and are now being followed up with by local believers. Some heard about Jesus for the first time and are still learning, full of curiosity about Him, and others didn’t believe at the time—but seeds were definitely planted, and we trust they will be watered in the future. No matter the outcome, we can say with confidence that, with God leading us, every friend we made heard the stories and testimonies of Jesus over and over.

We were able to serve at Tim Tebows “Night to Shine” event!

Every Sunday night we had worship and dinner at our house! It was such a fun time of hosting all of our friends and spending such special time together worshipping the Lord.

"Jesus replied: 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'"

Matthew 22:37-39

Testimony!

One of our first days in Vietnam, we met a barista at a coffeeshop who we really felt the Lord wanted us to be intentional with. She was from Mianmar and had fled her country for safety. She worked at this coffee shop every day of the week (which is terrible!), so we always knew where to find her. For weeks and weeks we visited her to hangout, sometimes bringing gifts, food or notes, and sharing about Jesus when we felt led to. This was a friend that everyone on our team began to love so dearly. We prayed for her all of the time, and we were all just dying for her to come to know the best gift that could be given to her which is Jesus and the gift of salvation. On our last week there, me and my co leader were going to hangout with her, and we both felt the excitement of “maybe today is the day” …

During our time together we began to share with her once again about Jesus. This time however it was different, she was hungry. She wanted to know more and to know who it was we were speaking of. As we were sharing we asked questions along the way to make sure she understood all that we were explaining to her. We knew from her answers, that there was no doubt that God was working in her heart. She spoke about how she wants to be “born again” without us ever even bringing up those words! We told her that she could be born again today. And so it was! She gave her life to the Lord, repented and professed Jesus was now Lord of her life! It was such a beautiful moment of seeing how it truly is God who opens the eyes and hearts of his children. He is so faithful to show up! Our words are just words, and we could share about Him a million times, but it is only Him who can change lives.

We were able to give her a bible and are still in touch with her today! Please be praying for her as she gave her life to the Lord right before we left. We are trusting God to surround her with local believers and a community that will disciples her into the truth of the Gospel.

This was the day our friend gave her life to Jesus!!!

We were so blessed to have a family on our team this year! They truly changed our lives and we learned SO much from the way that they love the Lord. Please be praying for them as they stayed in Southeast Asia to continue to serve God and share about Him in this region!

"The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field."

Mathew 13:44
