I am Engaged!!!

I am so excited to tell you all that I recently got engaged! Andrew and I have decided to take this amazing step together, and we couldn’t be happier. Our journey has been filled with faith and purpose, and I am grateful for your unwavering support along the way.

As we prepare for this new chapter in our lives, I ask for your prayers and encouragement. Our commitment to serving in our mission remains strong, and we are excited to see how God will work through us as a couple in our community and beyond.

Discipleship Training School!

As you may know, we have spent the last three months preparing for our Discipleship Training School here at our base. We are now three weeks in and it has been INCREDIBLE! I am fully convinced that I have the best job in the world.

Right now, we are in the midst of our lecture phase here in Kona. This is such a special time for our students to be able to learn more about God, grow closer in relationship to Him, learn about missions and how to be an effective missionary! It is so fun to see these students fall more in love with God every day.

Room Leading

During this time I have the joy of leading a room of 8 students throughout there time of lecture phase. My role as their leader is to disciple them so that they are able to follow Jesus to the fullness that He deserves. In the past few weeks of living together, we have had countless moments of laughter, tears, prayers, late night talks, and all of the more that you can imagine. The Lord is already moving in their lives in such a profound way and it is such an honor to be apart of it.

Unreached People Groups

Our school has a specific emphasis on the unreached people of the world. In simple terms an “Unreached People Group” is a group of people that have little access to the Gospel. Less than 2% of this group is evangelical Christians, making it nearly impossible to grow unless something changes. For example, if you were to go to this region or nation and tell someone about Jesus, they most likely would have never heard about Him in their entire lives.

This has been something that has broken my heart more and more as I learn about the fact that there are people all over the world who have never, in their entire lives, heard about Jesus. Something has to change and I believe that we have to do something about it.

90% of career missionaries go to places that are already reached, and only 10% go to the unreached.

I believe that these are the people that the Lord has called me to.

Outreach to Southeast Asia!

I am SO excited to be leading a team to Southeast Asia from the months of December-March. During this outreach we will be building relationship and learning from the community, encouraging and serving the local missionaries, and sharing the love of Jesus. We have lots of different ministry opportunities, however, our main focus will be discipleship focused. It will look like meeting the locals, building relationship, introducing the Bible to them, teaching them how to study the Bible for themselves, and getting them in contact with the local missionaries there.

2. Our DTS, that the Lord would continue to move in the heart of the students

3. Outreach, that the Lord would prepare the hearts of the people that we are going to meet

4. Finances, that God would provide all finances as I raise money for outreach and our wedding

Support Raising

As you may know, I am a full-time missionary, and with that, comes along the fact that I am primarily support based financially by the local church. This means that people, or churches, who love the Lord and see the need for the Gospel to be spread around the nations, will give financially so that I am able to sustain myself and give my full efforts to ministry.
